How to Install conky software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

conky software package provides highly configurable system monitor (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install conky

conky is installed in your system.

Make ensure the conky package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep conky *

You will get with conky package name, version, architecture and description in a table
